Digital Planning founders Mark Underwood and James Ferraby have been shortlisted in three categories of the 2025 BusinessDesk East Midlands Leadership Awards.
The pair were jointly nominated for Emerging Entrepreneur, Technology, and Transformational leader in the annual event.
They were subsequently shortlisted in all three categories and will now go forward for judging ahead of the awards night in Nottingham in March 2025.
Mark, who co-founded Digital Planning alongside James in 2020 and has since overseen rapid expansion, said: ‘We’re honoured to have been shortlisted alongside leaders from some major regional companies.
‘Although we are only four years old, Digital Planning has expanded quickly to 19 employees and we have some big plans for 2025.
‘We’re looking forward to meeting the other businesses on the night and learning more about the excellent work they do too.’

TheBusinessDesk Awards
TheBusinessDesk.com created the East Midlands Leadership Awards to celebrate people who are role models within their organisations and raise the bar for their competitors.
Winners will demonstrate qualities of extraordinary leadership and the positive impact this has had.
The awards take on 12 March 2025 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Nottingham city centre.
It comes after Digital Planning was shortlisted in two categories in November’s Leicestershire Business Awards – on that occasion for growth and innovation.
