Digital Planning is sponsoring and judging two categories at this year’s East Midlands Chamber Business Awards.
Judging for the 2025/26 Leicestershire Business Awards takes place today (Wednesday), with Co-founders James Ferraby and Mark Underwood sitting on the panel for two categories: Innovation of the Year and Digital Transformation.
The annual awards celebrate the region’s commitment to productivity, skills and digital innovation with the gala dinner taking place on 26 February at the King Power Stadium.
The event sees businesses from across the county coming together to celebrate their achievements and recognise the people and teams behind them – with 12 awards handed out on the night.
As strategic partner of East Midland Chamber, Digital Planning works with the region to transform productivity through original digital technologies.
The Digital Transformation Award recognises organisations that use technology to change how they operate, rather than simply digitising existing processes.
Innovation of the Year highlights organisations that turn new ideas into products, services or platforms with clear commercial or social impact.
Applying commercial R&D expertise
Digital Planning brings commercial R&D and implementation experience to the judging panel – including award-winning work in real-time scheduling, decision support and AI-driven resource management in complex sectors.
The business designs, tests and delivers secure digital solutions that move clients from pilots to live deployment, focusing on measurable operational and financial results.
Co-founder James Ferraby said: “We want to see teams who can show how technology is changing decisions, services and outcomes today – with clear data on what has improved, who benefits and how the organisation will scale that impact.”
Supporting the region’s next phase of growth
The judging role sits alongside Digital Planning’s work with Chamber members on automation, secure data platforms and next generation digital infrastructure.
By backing these awards, Digital Planning highlights organisations whose digital transformation and innovation are shaping the East Midlands economy and creating new opportunities for people across the region.
