Digital Planning has appointed Maksym Rozhok as its Head of Engineering.
Maksym has been working as a software engineer since the age of 18, holding a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, with a focus on software systems programming.
His industry experience spans a wide range of projects, including banking systems, messaging platforms (mobile apps and servers), independent consulting, and big data projects (analytics, data collection, and processing).
Maksym has also founded and led two startups: the first an online car marketplace, the second was a CRM platform with gamification features. He also spent two years as a programming lecturer, teaching subjects such as SQL, JavaScript, C#, and web development.
As Digital Planning’s Head of Engineering, Maksym will take responsibility for overseeing delivery of all engineering, with primary focus on custom software projects.
He will report to Digital Planning’s Chief Technology Officer, Robbie Lewis, acting as a technical authority, decision-maker, and coordinator across multiple project teams.
Robbie said: “Maksym will ensure that Digital Planning solutions are well-architected, technically sound, and aligned with clients’ business objectives.
“The role requires close collaboration with all Digital Planning teams and, while the focus is on custom software, Maksym will also provide support to other business functions, such as our website and cyber projects, as and when required.”
James Ferraby, director and co-founder of Digital Planning, said: “This is an important role for Digital Planning as we continue to reinvest in the people and systems which are underpinning our strategic growth.
“Maksym brings important software engineering experience across a host of complex industries, as well as direct involvement in enterprise.
