Leicester Riders, the UK’s oldest professional basketball club, needed a modern digital platform to match their on-court success and growing ambitions.
Their existing website lacked the flexibility, performance, and energy required to engage fans, support sponsors, and reflect the strength of the Riders brand.
We were brought in to design and build a bold, mobile-first website that puts fans first – with dynamic ticketing, live content integration, and custom features tailored to the club’s evolving needs.

Challenge.
Digital Planning was appointed as Official Digital Partner to deliver a user-focused, mobile-optimised website for the Leicester Riders.
The goal was to streamline navigation, integrate ticketing, and provide rich, engaging content while laying the groundwork for a broader digital transformation.
We also needed to:
- Build a dynamic ticket carousel that keeps fans updated and converts quickly
- Create custom functionality for managing teams, rosters, and fixtures
- Integrate a live Instagram feed to keep the site fresh with minimal admin
- Ensure the site was easy to manage across departments, from marketing to media

The new website makes it easier for fans, sponsors, and partners to connect with the club.
