Ben Hutchings has been appointed as Chief Science Officer, strengthening Digital Planning’s focus on research, development, and delivery.
Digital Planning is further advancing technical innovation in digital transformation, with Ben taking lead as Chief Science Officer (CSO). Ben, previously a leading AI/ML engineer, brings renowned expertise in artificial intelligence and applied machine learning to his new role at the forefront of research and technical delivery.
Ben has been working at Digital Planning for over a year, where he has been building robust AI systems for complex regulated environments.
As well as playing a key role in the development of Metis, Digital Planning’s advanced AI-powered optimisation engine for rapid, data-driven resource allocation.
He has recently contributed as technical co-author to “Recognizing Cardiovascular Risk Patterns using Ensemble Learning Algorithms,” a conference paper to be presented at a leading science and technology conference in Morocco next month.
As CSO, his focus is driving the company’s innovation agenda, guided by leading cutting-edge research, developing intelligent technologies, and delivering practical solutions to industry-wide challenges.
