Digital Planning has welcomed another new addition to its fast-growing team.
Experienced digital designer Olawale Olatunji joins after two years working for Lagos-based technology solutions company Chams Access.
Olawale gained significant experience of applying user-centric design expertise to digital solutions for the financial and security sectors.
He built user-friendly and intuitive interface designs using comprehensive wireframes and interactive prototypes.
Outcomes from Olawale’s work included redesigning and testing one financial client’s user feedback system, increasing the user base by 60% and underpinning remittance worth more than $10.8m.
Other work included system design, A/B testing, user journey analysis, and design team management. Olawale said:
Prior to starting at Chams Access I worked as a front-end developer and operations lead for other fintech companies in Nigeria.
It gave me a lot of applied product design and low-code development experience, along with a deep understanding of the end-to-end product development cycle.
It also trained me in research, idea generation, interaction, and visual design – as well as a problem-solving approach that fits well with management of complex projects.
Digital Planning co-director James Ferraby said:
Olawale brings fantastic skills and design ability, as well as several years of experience in fin-tech product development.
This will help drive Digital Planning forward as we continue to deliver groundbreaking digital technologies which enhance efficiency and human capability across a host of complex industries.
Digital Planning has significant experience of development in the fintech industry.
The company’s ability to operate in complex industries has earned preferred partner status with St James’s Place and non-executive director roles for James and co-director Mark Underwood with emerging tech startup AuditBot.
