Digital Planning is proud to support Good Business Charter week as an accredited organisation, having achieved Good Business Charter (GBC) status in 2025.
This accreditation forms part of Digital Planning’s commitment to ethical, responsible growth.
The Charter’s 10-point framework gives the business a clear structure for doing the right thing for its people, partners and the wider community.
The GBC is an independent UK standard that recognises organisations whose practices align with responsible principles of fair payment, responsible procurement and governance – values that were already embedded at Digital Planning and are now clearly formalised through accreditation.
Co-founder Mark Underwood said: “As a value‑led business, we use the Good Business Charter framework to demonstrate our long‑standing commitment to responsible business.
“Having the framework to guide the development of our ESG strategy is invaluable as we plan the next phase of our responsible business commitments.”
Since becoming Good Business Charter accredited, Digital Planning has been embedding the charter into a broader ESG strategy that aligns with core values and long-term strategy.
This ESG strategy underpins how Digital Planning designs, delivers and scales its digital and AI solutions, ensuring commercial performance and responsible practice move forward together.
This commitment is visible in the way Digital Planning invests back into its community and region – recently sponsoring the Inspiring Others category at the Charnwood Community Heroes Awards 2025.
The awards recognise individuals and groups making a positive local impact.
Digital Planning also plays an active role in regional business through partnerships with universities, business networks and skills initiatives, including strategic collaborations across the East Midlands that support innovation, digital upskilling and inclusive growth.
Internally, GBC principles reinforce a people-first culture that focuses on fair pay, meaningful development and a supportive working environment.
Digital Planning believes responsible business, strong ESG foundations and advanced digital innovation must work together to ensure AI delivers long‑term, sustainable impact.
